Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
If you build plugins within opencpn\plugins then dbbuild.bat will copy the dll for you. It will also copy the data folder dependencies. If a plugin has other data folders then they won't be copied automatically.

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
When using the -p portable option in VS options there is no big advantage to building plugins within OpenCPN folder. You can create a debug package and install the plugin to the build\debug folder and it will work. So I try not to clutter up the OpenCPN tree with non-default plugins.

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
I should also say that several programmers have helped with this, Sean, of course, Stelian, Did_g, and I believe Mike (rasbats). I am the one who upated the xml files. They are not perfect as the rate of met web changes is pretty constant, so if you have found new sources, urls or have made changes for your local wxfax downloads, please add them to the weatherfax thread so they can be incorporated.
Also we need some volunteers from various parts of the world to help maintain this extensive list.
I am volunteering to do the Atlantic Noaa.
We need some for the Pacific noaa, Australia & NZ, Japan, Phillipines, Malaysia, India, Africa, Mediterranean, Europe, and England
If any of you

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Does Hakan's change in the PO file naming affect all of the plugins? Including all of Sean's plugins? Weather_routing has already been changed, but can the others just be done at the next complie or release?
How can we avoid the "conflict" of file issue when merging, or is that inherent?
Wouldn't it be better to merge those changes first, then modify the code?
If this is true, then perhaps we should be making PR's for all the plugins some they can be merged before they are modified?

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Rick..@all..
The "normal" routine is that when new development for each plugin is ready, at least for text parts, address a message to Pavel or me and we can upload the new strings, the POT-file, to Crowdin. When translators are ready or at least to an acceptable level and before release a new message will result in download of translations, the po-files, and a PR to the plugin's Github.
The crucial task is to message when new strings are ready for Crowdin. "As simple as that".
Happy New Year!
Håkan

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Sorry Terry, It's working here. Perhaps it is not distributed on the internet yet.
Try https://github.com/rgleason or https://github.com/ and then navigate.

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
rtlsdr_pi-1.2-win32 plugin for opencpn for AIS vhf and more on tv tuner usb dongle.
I have installed this plugin successfully, but have not connected to an rtlsdr that has the drivers installed.
Windows users, please report in detail any experiences with this plugin!
We would very much like to turn off the "pre-release" with several favorable reports.
