Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Sean has just recently updated and improved these plugins in Directory:
3.3.1931 PI Win
weather_routing_pi-1.1-ov3.3.1824-g-win32.exe
watchdog_pi-1.1-ov3.3.1824-e-win32.exe
3.2.2 PI Win
weatherfax_pi-1.3-ov3.2.2-g-win32.exe
Please download the installation files, install in appropriate Opencpn version, test and advise:
Opencpn Beta File Thingie rguser rgpass
I have tried these plugins and they open are working in most respects.
- Weather_routing is now reading and writing files better.
- Watchdog functions are working.
- Weatherfax is more seemless, and operation is more fluid and useful, the sound files need to be tested and use with a soundcard and a SSB to recieve on schedule needs to be tested. (If someone can do that and advise, it would be wonderful as I do not have an SSB.)

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Peter...
Broken download?
Run
Code:
md5sum wmm_pi_0.8-1_i386.deb
And if the output is not
Code:
dde41b9ea88ddc1e4d06b677d5ad92f2 wmm_pi_0.8-1_i386.deb
download again.
I suppose your system really is 32 bit...

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Yes, it was a broken download, the md5 sum was not correct. I downloaded once more and the install went just fine. Will use it tomorrow for checking / adjusting the deviation of a new compass.

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Sean has updated these plugins. Please uninstall previous versions using the plugin uninstall exe located in the Opencpn directory and then install and test.
I have installed each plugin and have opened it in Opencpn 3.3.2107 but have not fully tested it. Thank you. You will find the updates in the appropriate Opencpn version folder here:
Opencpn Beta File Thingie - rguser, rgpass
Weather_routing
Bump version, add readme, add polar files and improve polar file loading.
weather_routing_pi-1.2-ov3.3.2107-win32.exe
--Note that weather_routing works for "New" configurations. Old configurations seen to fail and crash Opencpn. I have not figured out what is causing this.
Celestial_Navagation
Update NL Translation.
celestial_navigation_pi-1.10-ov3.2.2-e-win32.exe
Rtlsdr
Improve reported messages and detect helper programs, minor version set to 12,
for AIS vhf and more on tv tuner usb dongle
rtlsdr_pi-0.12-ov-3.3.2107-win32.exe
Sean thanks for the website link, but there is a Link problem:
Celestial_Navigation plugin link under "Information"
The above information was edited from Erik De Man

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
With Pavel's changes and Sean's changes, I have updated the Windows Opencpn Beta plugins and added BR24radar and Gradar install files:
3.2.2 Win PI directory
climatology_pi-1.0-ov-3-2-2-win32
gradar_pi-0.1.1-ov3-2-2-win32
4.0 Win PI directory
weather_routing_pi-1.2-ov-4-win32
weatherfax_pi-1.3-ov-4-win32
br24radar_pi-1.1-ov-4-win32
rtlsdr_pi-0.12-ov-4-win32
I have not tested these files yet. They all compiled with no warnings or errors and they have had minimal changes. This thread should now probably be titled something else. Will try to change it
to something like "Opencpn Beta Files & Plugins for Windows"
meaning if the Opencpn downloads page is more current , use that!
OpenCPN Beta File Thingie rguser rgpass
This is now using https and the user has been restricted to upload download. Changed the folder on the website too.

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Regarding weatherfax_pi I can build it standalone from command line ok in Linux. But if I clone it into OpenCPN/plugins and issue make from OpenCPN/build it fails when it gets to this folder opencpn/plugins/weatherfax_pi. This is the output:
CMake Error at plugins/weatherfax_pi/CMakeLists.txt:131 (ADD_LIBRARY):
Cannot find source file:
src/tinyxml.cpp
It should be looking in src/tinyxml/tinyxml.cpp. I can't understand why it will build standalone but not when building from OpenCPN/build. The same error happens when building OpenCPN with codeblocks.

Thanks for building and hosting those.
I have a bunch of voice warning .wav files for OpenCPN that might be useful to others. Perhaps your "Thingie" would be a good place to share them ?
Cheers,
JM.

Re: Sean Depagnier's Plugins
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone plans on releasing the Weather Routing and WeatherFax plugins for Mac OS X in the future ? Would love to try those...
Thanks for the great work. Already enjoying the Climatology plugin immensely !
