Routes to Garmin 400, 500 series?

Has anyone had any success in moving routes from OpenCPN to the 4-500 series (or other) chartplotters via SD (or micro?) card? I have loaded my gps76 from gps, but that is via the garmin provided cable.

Thanks, Bruce
