reset nautical standard

I made a mess of my "mariners choice" for Vector Chart Display.
How to reset tot the Original Mariners choice?

Re: reset nautical standard

What version do you have installed? What OS?
Recent beta versions of 4.5 have a "reset" button.

Re: reset nautical standard

Aart Try to get a recent version of 4.5 it has a "reset" see the shots below.
You can set it by hand too. Normally I would not do this. There are many settings.
Perhaps this should be a text file. Did not take the time to figure that out.

Re: reset nautical standard

Thanks for your answer. I reset my mariners standar by hand according to yours.

Where can I find 4.5 bèta? And where can I find what has changed from 4.4 so I can attune my manual in Dutch.

Re: reset nautical standard

Also I may be mistaken, but I think these settings are under
[Settings/ObjectFilter] in the Config file.

Re: reset nautical standard

Rick,
I am on W10 with OCPN 4.4. Maybe it is better for me to wait until the bèta for 4.5 is on the downloadpage.

Re: reset nautical standard

I unchecked "resare" and "Resticted Area" but after closing and re-opening OCPN these 2 are checked again.

Re: reset nautical standard

Aart I am not sure what is causing this to happen.
I suggest you review Vector Display Tab
noting in particular the section with
Quote:
Display Categories If you are new to OpenCPN and vector charts please start with the “All” Display Category, to avoid risks and possible confusion. The Display Category is selected from the drop down menu. More below.
Navigators has the choice of three pre-defined, different, presentations of ENC content, Base, Standard and All. OpenCPN also has the very flexible Mariners Standard, which is better described as “Mariners Choice”.
