Recommended processor

Sorry if this has been covered (but I did not see on the opencpn site or here)-

What are the recommended processor and RAM when running OpenCPN on Windows 8?

The reason I ask is i see some windows tablets that have low end and high end processors, such as the Atom processors. I have been using it on a laptop with great success but am looking for a second place to use it.

Thanks

Bob

Re: Recommended processor

OpenCpn works fine on my crappy netbook with 1 gig of ram and a very slow single core processor.

Re: Recommended processor

It runs fine on my 5 year old netbook with the original Atom processor.

It runs fine on my brand new Win8 tablet with the latest Sandy Bridge Atom processor.
