Raspberry pi 4 memory size

Just about to buy my upgraded Pi. Do I want 2Gb memory or 4Gb?

There is no such thing as “too much memory” when speaking about computers.

Not a huge difference 45USD vs 55USD

Adafruit or Chicago Electronics Distributors

I suggest the 2gb version worthwhile, but the 4gb would not utilize the extra memory if only running opencpn in most cases.

I ended up going with the 4GB version - working very well with OCPN using MBtiles and KAP charts and AIS over WiFi
