Quilting problem, black lines
I created two charts with GE2KAP from GE screenshots. When they are quilted together by OpenCPN there is a blackline between them. Why? The charts do not have this blackline. The charts only have four calibration points and four border points which are at the 4 corners. I can provide you with the charts if needed.

Why is this opened against the polar plugin?
I think this is an OpenCPN 4.0 issue?

When testing your charts all seems OK on my Linux 64 box.
Have you tested OpenGL on/off. upgraded your graphical driver etc. ?

It's OK with Mac OS X also.

Did you try turning off the chart outlines and zooming in? This happens on all 3 of my Computers, two running Win8 the other Win7 and it has been reported to me by other users of GE2KAP. They all have opencgl off, but will try with on and see.

Indeed a small black line is visible with opengl off but not with opengl on. Outlines doesn't matter but zoom does, see screenshot.

I get the blackline with OpenGL on or off. When chart outlines are on they cover the line.

I can't get any black lines, whatever I tried, so far. Zooming, outlines on/off & GL on/off. Anyone on Linux with black lines?
