PreBuild for OpenCPN Beta and Head with plugins (OpenSUSE)

Hello,

if you want to test the latest release of OpenCPN and the associated plugins without having to play with git or compilers you can find daily (around Midnight CET) builds for OpenSUSE 12.2 and 12.3

Beta :
- Latest Beta for OpenCPN core (current 3.3.604)
- Latest version for the plugins (there is no defined tag to define what is a beta for plugins)
https://build.opensuse.org/project/s...OpenCPN%3Abeta

Head :
- Nighly build for OpenCPN core
- Nighly build for the plugins
https://build.opensuse.org/project/s...OpenCPN%3Ahead

Stable remains available with the plugin from my release snapshot (there is no tag to confirm what is the stable version for plugins).

Thumbs up Re: PreBuild for OpenCPN Beta and Head with plugins (OpenSUSE)

Might be a good initiative to have the latest 'Prebuild' version available. Anyone capable of hosting a Windows 'Prebuild' too?

I am afraid that I don't do Windows.

I could create an appliance which boots from a live USB stick if that is of interest.
It would allow to run tests without installing anything on the HDD but would require the maps to be pre-installed on the HDD.
Reliability of USB is not great but enough for test.

Let me know if that is valuable.

Sure that is of great value. As a technical user of Windows I am always looking towards Linux. Open SUSE seams to be great and it would give a kick start if its boot-able available on USB. The Charts are of course already on HDD. SUSE can handle the NTFS-formated HDD if I'm not mistaken?
