Re: Plugin Help

Holger,
to know for sure what's up, open your logfile and look at the line like
Code:
9:56:51 AM: PlugInManager searching for PlugIns in location /usr/local/lib/opencpn
If there's another problem with your plugin, it will be reported on the lines following this one.

Re: Plugin Help

I'd like to get involved in developing this plugin but it's been so long since I coded anything it's going to take me ages to disect things and learn the environments etc...

However in the mean time; could I request that thought be given to adding the 500 mB height and precipitation in?

Now that you have isobars working again putting in the 500mB height isobars, in another colour, say a blue or grey, shouldn't be too hard?

Precipitaion is nice to have too; it tells you whether you will be getting soaked by salt or fresh water

Thanks everybody
Chris

Looks like a mistake in the plugin. Well that’s above my skills.

Thanks for help

Re: Plugin Help

Holger,
looks to me like you are running an outdated version of OpenCPN, so whatever you do, update to 2.4.714. Are you trying to build your own plugin or just get the SethDart's logbook to work?
If the former is the case, show us the code If the later is the case, install 2.4.714 and get the precompiled plugin binary at https://github.com/downloads/nohal/O...u10-i386_pi.so - latest plugin code linked against latest OpenCPN code on Ubuntu 10.10 32bit

@SethDart: We should update the links at PlugIns | Official OpenCPN Homepage with the current version ASAP. Or are you going to commit some more changes to the code before 2.5 is out?

Thanks

Pavel

Re: Plugin Help

Well done!

At least it works. I have to install the UBUNTU package 2.4.720-2 (http://www.opencpn.org/sites/default...720-2_i386.deb)

Now the plugins work. I will test them the next time when I'm on board.

Thanks for your work.
