penCPN 4.0 with plugins for OpenSUSE available in official repo

P { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 120%; }A:link { } Hello,

I have just finalised the new packaging of OpenCPN 4.0 for OpenSUSE with all the Linux compliant plugins as independant packages.

To get the "one Click install" best is to look for the package OpenCPN-4.x from OpenSUSE web site with Firefox. It will work out of the box.
OpenCPN-4.0 will install the base and all the plugins.

Note:
1) The OpenSUSE logo indicated in the web site page trigger a search which still find OpenCPN-3.2.2. I will try to cheat the search but correcting the Web site would be better.

2) OpenSUSE URLs

3) Packaging the plugins is pain full because we do not have a proper tag system for which one must be used. It's a guess game where each packager has to create its own fork for quite a few plugin.
Lot of thanks for Nohal from who I reused many patches (which should have been merged by plugins owner).

4) Included plugins list

OpenCPN-4.0 and addociated plugins.

This project contains the last known stable from OpenCPN (current is 4.0.0).
Many thanks to Brendan (madeo.co.uk) and Steffen (home:steffenp) who created the initial rpm packages.
