Re: Optimized Opencpn: Testers Needed

git pull Already up to date.
cmake then run Msvc build/build solutions, then debug and get immediate break.

Re: Optimized Opencpn: Testers Needed

It seems to bring styles.h up with these lines with the last line being the next one to be executed.

Quote:
void bmdump(wxBitmap bm, wxString name);
wxBitmap MergeBitmaps( wxBitmap back, wxBitmap front, wxSize offset );
wxBitmap ConvertTo24Bit( wxColor bgColor, wxBitmap front );

namespace ocpnStyle {

WX_DECLARE_STRING_HASH_MAP( int, intHash );
Am I missing the menu icons or something? I have added nothing, nor have I changed anything.

Re: Optimized Opencpn: Testers Needed

Additional Information: I am using WxWidgets 2.8.12, also current beta Opencpn 3.3.1618 complies with MSVC and Debug loads and program is useable.

Edit : Just got a break, see Opencpn 3.3.1618 thread.

Anyway
Code:
make install
should be all you need. I never tried producing a deb package for ARM, but will for the next beta.

Just to be clear on this: the normal instructions work, but won't give you hardware acceleration.

For hardware acceleration you need to follow the instructions in the embedded arm thread. So far no one except me has had success, and I don't have a display (relying on screen grabs) I don't fully know the effects.

Yes you are right.
Code:
make build
Does not exist.

I used:
Code:
make package
I'm sorry for the misstake.

I have tried to follow the "Embedded ARM thread" to get hardware acceleration and have failed. Lets continue the discussion there instead: OpenCPN Runs on Embedded ARM

Re: Optimized Opencpn: Testers Needed

Hi Folks. I noticed this thread hasn't been updated since 5/16/2014. Is opencpn still under development for the raspberry pi? Is there a compiled Alpha version with hardware acceleration.

Re: Optimized Opencpn: Testers Needed

You probably want to look at a different thread for RPi development:
