Opening .fsh (Raymarine archive) files

Hello, and sorry if this is redundant (I did try a search):

I'm interested only in looking at tracks I've saved in my Raymarine C120 plotter. I've managed to get an "ARCHIVE.FSH" file out.

How, or can, I open this file to look at my tracks?

thanks in advance

edit: Macintosh OS, if it matters

Have dose of proprietary file formats .... Format specification for "ARCHIVE.FSH" files? - Raymarine Technical Forum .
Then rinse away the bad taste, and enjoy Free software and open file formats.

tamicatana...
Your sense of humor is extraordinary If you actually bother to read the thread Thomas linked to the page 2 (of 2), you will find the links to both the available solutions for converting .FSH files to something usable.

Wish you the best of luck in dealing with people around you

Those solutions require "compiling" a separate program. I had hoped from an answer from WITHIN OpenCPN, hence the question here at the OpenCPN forum.

I apologise for asking.

tamicatana...
fsh2gpx is written in python and does not require compiling anything. Python is available on every Mac in the base install.

the very thread you reference mentions that the python script is "buggy." I am loath to mess with it.

tami...
That's what you probably will be for a bit of time if you don't invest those 30 seconds to give it a try...

Wish you luck

Re: Opening .fsh (Raymarine archive) files

Hi!
I know that this is an old thread but probably somebody is still reading it

I'd like to point out that I wrote an FSH converter called parsefsh about one year ago which works pretty well and is stable. Please have a look at the Openstreetmap Wiki at
Parsefsh - OpenStreetMap Wiki

Re: Opening .fsh (Raymarine archive) files

Are there any tools to go from GPX to FSH?

I want to plan my routes in MacENC and them upload them on my E80 Raymarine plotter

My tool can't do it yet. But I think it would be too much effort.
You would like to convert GPX tracks to FSH tracks?
If you send me a sample GPX I could to try to implement the converter in that way, as long as you are not in a hurry
