opencpn3.2.2 to Nasa clipper GPS repeater

I'm trying to get my gps repeater to run and am having difficulty getting the correct sentences to output (I need RMC, RMB and GSA); and to identify the port my repeater is connected to ( doesn't show on gps info - just com 2 for the BU353). Can anyone throw any light on this please?

PenguinPete..
The first tip is to read the extensive manual/wiki:
Either in the OCPN help menu or Setting Up GPS | Official OpenCPN Homepage
Second is if you find the com port for your output device in the device manager you may have to manually enter the com port number if OCPN doesn't have it in its drop down list.
