OpenCPN will not start on MAC

Sorry to repost but openCPN is my back up nav system and I really need to get it going again before we head back out to sea.

It was running well on my MacBook but crashed about 2 weeks ago. I think it happened while I was adding charts, but I'm not positive.

I have removed the application and all related files using AppCleaner.
I have downloaded openCPN, double clicked the download file, moved the icon to applications, then launched the application.

When I launch the application, it immediately crashes.

Can anyone help me with this? Am I doing something stupid? I'm out of ideas.

Excerpts from the OSX crash log and the complete openCPN logs follow:

Re: OpenCPN will not start on MAC

Jpernick...
From the crashlog it looks like perhaps your cleanup was not enough and there could be a corrupted navobj.xml (the file where routes, tracks and waypoints are stored) file on your system. No idea where to look for it on a Mac, but try /Users/jpernick/Library/Preferences/ for a start.
Also look for navobj.xml.changes in the same location - this one contains the changes from the last run of the program and in case of a crash should be used to recover the changes made before the main file was successfully saved during the next start.
I would be very interested in both of them if you manage to find them to fix this in a more systematic way. (Also if you value the information in them, don't delete them, but move them to some other location and post here for fixing.)

This line does not look right to me. Shouldn't mem_total show the total system memory and mem_inital be something like 7 mb.

I am not an OpenCPN developer or even a MAC user. However, the above observation seems like it could be relevant. I hope this proves to be the case.

Good luck.

Re: OpenCPN will not start on MAC

I moved the navobj files and the app started right up! Thank you so much for the help.

Pavel, I have attached all the navobj files. I changed the extensions to gpx so the file types would match the forum upload rules.

Once again, Thanks!
