Re: OpenCPN Version 4.4 Released
On my computer I get UTC +13:00 and not 12:00 hours.
It should indicate NZST and not NZDT.
Any idea what could be wrong.
Windows 10 pro edition.
Thanks for help.

If you still are in Canada, then wrong is your hemisphere. Please fill a bug in OpenCPN::OpenCPNAll Projects: Tasklist as the problem really exists, just not under "normal" circumstances.

Before going any further, please check the time settings on your own computer.

The time settings is EDT zone 4 for the summer and zone 5 for the winter EST.
Things are correct and in the WTIDE program the times are correct for New Zealand, that is NZST as it is winter Zone 12. But in OpenCpn it indicate UTC +13:00. So what is next. The time of the tides are Ok with New Zealand Hydrographic in WTIDE.

Re: OpenCPN Version 4.4 Released
P_Dub, et al...
OCPN has no idea whether a particular tide station observes DST. It is a political thing, not a geographical thing. There are databases available for this sort of information, but we do not use them.
By design, OpenCPN applies DST to the displayed tides if the user's local computer is set to use DST.
In Canada, right now, DST is in use. If you wish to examine tides with OCPN in a spot which does not observe DST, either adjust your computer to not use DST, or do the math in your head. Or use another tool.
Thanks
Dave

Re: OpenCPN Version 4.4 Released
cagney....
I experimented with multiple cm93 datasets using the current github master on linux.
For me, all works fine. If I have no groups defined, I get two yellow entries in the chart bar. One is eclipsed, of course.
If I define two groups, with one cm93 set in each group, then I can switch groups as usual, and see the cm93 datasets individually.
So, I cannot reproduce your issue from:

More?
Thanks

Thanks Dave, I thought you had a list of country included with the date change from saving to standard time. Sorry for the inconvenient cause.

Re: OpenCPN Version 4.4 Released
[QUOTE=bdbcat;2191044]cagney....
Dave I found the way that it can be done:-
Desactivate the automatic summer time in Windows clock adjustment and activate the zone time automatic, that works for Widows 10 pro and it is the way to do it properly (an other Windows trick like you say).
Bye

Dave,
Thanks for checking!
In the end, ... a full chart database rebuild solved the problem.

Re: OpenCPN Version 4.4 Released
AIS MOB device course and speed are not displayed.
When I drop a AIS MOB device such as: AIS MOB Devices
Opencpn gives a warning to show it's location. The field course and speed remain empty. This worked correctly in 4.2
When I open the ais target list it is the same result.
Opencpn does draw a track and shows a speedvector of the target thus it receives the neccesary data. Is there a workaround? Or should I go back to 4.2?

ccgarnaal...
Not that I can't get the sentences out using some grep magic, but next time when asked to record an NMEA stream, please use the VDR plugin - it is soooo much easier to use the result.
Thanks

Re: OpenCPN Version 4.4 Released
Looking at the NMEA in the log you posted, there are no !AIVDM sentences at all, just your own (MMSI 205429020) AIVDO message 18's telling us that your boat went more or less north at 4 knots.
Please try again, this time really recording the data using the VDR plugin.

Re: OpenCPN Version 4.4 Released
Stumbled on a small Toolbar Icons selection bug (?)
- Click on any icon and deselect 'Show ENC Text(T)' but ensure 'Hide AIS Targets' is ticked.
- Click 'OK'
- The icon 'Show ENC Text(T)' is gone and 'Hide AIS Targets' is displayed, as requested.
- Restart OpenCPN
- Now the icon 'Show ENC Text(T)' is displayed while 'Hide AIS Targets' is gone.
It appears that the string controlling the icons is not written/read correctly.
Have tested to delete the config file but the error persists. Verified on three separate installations, all on Linux and OpenCPN 4.4.0.
Using e.g. Ubuntu Linux 14.04 Lxfe system with OpenCPN 4.4.0

Re: OpenCPN Version 4.4 Released
LennartG Perhaps this should be posted in tracker under O 4.4
Can you do that please? Go to opencpn.org and find Tracker in menu. Register then enter your bug.
