Re: OpenCPN Version 2.6 Beta Build 1705

The Ubuntu packages are all compiled on Ubuntu version 12.04.
Please report how these packages works on earlier Ubuntu versions.

There are two different 32 bits packages. The main(first) is compiled by Dave and the second one by me. For some reason they are not exactly the same. Read http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...4-a-80953.html -thread for more info.
If nothing else the second package is a touch smaller than the first.
Please report your experiences.

Re: OpenCPN Version 2.6 Beta Build 1705

217 double click object query, wow what an improvement VV nice

Also a good clean up on scaling in and out.

one point though the traffic separation arrows shows in a north direction rather than 85 deg & 265 deg as per their object query (not certain if they showed correctly before though)

dutch chart ir65w83I source edition 7 update 23/3/412 available from

ftp://www.risserver.nl/ENC/zeeland/

this address gives what the dutch refer to as level 6 data, which inclues the soundings and much more detail.

Thanks again. On my gentoo box had a minor bug in the properties dialog for ECN. The OK button is not lined right. (see screenshot).
Hot plugging with gpsd works nicely.

Win7 running without hick-ups for the moment.

As suggested by Happy: what about a well visible indicator for "track mode ON".
Thinking about a green "T" alongside with the GPS status perhaps.

Dave

The 64 bits version crashes after clicking OK in the first dialog.

So far my locally compiled 32 bits runs OK. Not really tested though.

Dave...
I'm observing pretty ugly crashes when the PLIB data is not found.
