MOB can be deleted but only in the "Route manager". And I am OK for this.

But, I said another my idea for the temporary route associated with the MOB. I prefer a circle with eventually a route from the boat to the MOB.

Best regards

Gilletarom.

Font settings in Toolbax

The Font settings work fine for the Tooltips anyway.
But you cannot set the color (if you choose magenta or yellow the font remains black). The yellow could be a choice for persons who would like to read the info in the *night* setting of the OpenCPN.

The font setting works also fine for *Marks* (also with the color limitation as above)

For Console Legend and Console Value I cannot see what happens when I change the values of the font settings (I also do not have any idea what Console Legend and Console Value actually stands for)

The AIS rollover I cannot test at home

Toolbox settings Etc. GUI Wheel Zoom function

The *Wheel Zoom to Cursor* setting does have no apparent function.

If not marked, wheelzoom works fine
If marked, wheelzoom works fine also

GRIB file display

See enclosed screen shots

The same gribfile input gives far more detail (isobars etc) in Expedition (a free grib reader) in compare to the OCPN plugin. Allthough the plugin indicates it knows that the isobar data is there.

Yes, I'm aware of it. The problem is that there is no way to tell whether the topmark is placed above a floating (buoy, topmark should be slanted) or fixed (beacon, topmark should be upright) object in the rules themself. The original custom symbolization procedure in the code has implemented it by searching for other objects at the same position.
As far as I can tell, the effect is disruptive just with the cardinal marks - cones, double cones, balls and double balls. I should be able to come up with modified rules, that will use the CS for these objects. Stay tuned...

Importing old waypoints from a saved gpx file

I imported data (my favorite Norwegian achorages) from an older gpx file (of the current 2.1.0 version)

The result goes haywire. Not on the anchorages, these are OK.
But old tracks show up very funny. See enclosed screendump.

Gilletarom.
I agree with this, but:

1) either the right click contex menu should not include the "Delete Mark" option if the mark is a MOB mark.

2) or trying to use Delete Mark over a MOB should just open a message box saying "MOB Mark can only be deleted in Route Manager"

Ciao, Marco.

Ciao, Marco.
The first idea seems to me preferable

Corrected rasterization rules II

Guys,
attached is hopefully the version of the rules releasable as 2.3 without major complaints
Using the TOPMAR01 symbolization procedure is enforced for all the cardinal and lateral symbol topmarks (balls, cones, cans), cubes and boards - in practice we never had any more topmarks that had both the upright and slanted version, so the behavior for what we had before should not change at all from previous versions. The rest of the extensions is kept intact - Big thanks to Gilletarom again.
For the future the topmark and daymark symbolization should probably be revised once again as there is quite a lot of differences between various charts (ENC vs. IENC, ENC vs. CM93...) which are currently sometimes hard to handle properly as we just have one set of the rules. The "competition" (SeeMyENC and Caris at least) usually uses different symbolization datasets for different charts... Don't think it's the way to go though as there will never be enough manpower to maintain it besides other complications.
