Reflection on the functioning of "Anchor watch."

hello,

Reflection on the functioning of "Anchor wath."

1° I puts in place an "Anchor watch". Currently, using my mouse, I can move hit voluntarily or involuntarily..

It can be dangerous. The mark must not, after a wrong operation mariner in front of his computer, be moved by chance. The mariner only has to can move the mark voluntarily.
(L'idée en Français : Il ne faut absolument pas que la marque puisse être déplacée par hasard)

2° If I put in place a mark, then if I click right on the mark, now, one can "Set alarm watch" ON.." Even though the window of properties of the mark was not opened.

This is good. Thus, It is hard to forget to ajust the distance..

Best regards,

Gilletarom.

Thanks all, for testing.
Really as expected....
Nobody else with a 64 bit Linux installed?
I have uploaded 32 bits packages and renamed the 64 bit package, on the .org site. The packages in them selves are not correctly named though
I'll see if I can get a virtual 32 bit system going in a while , until then, probably no more 32 bits packages from me.

No!

in the opencpn/build Dir.

Hi Dave,

I have done a bit of work on the anchor watch code. Most of the work was on the logic. I also increased the number of safe/hazard areas to a combined total 5. Included is the url for the patch and a few screen shots. I have only tested this on XP.

Bug: no color fill in symbols CM93

Hi,

Just compiled the 2.1.0 Build RC615a on my Mint9 64bit box (Ubuntu 10.04 64b). It compiles and runs without errors. The only thing is that the symbols in the CM93 charts have no color fill.

Nice program.

Jan,
screenshot and/or location and/or a bit better description of what you mean could be pretty helpful... Like this very little we can do about it

I had this problem too and solved it in the following way with th settings/tools function:

Tools > Vector Charts
Display Category choose Mariner Standard
Chart Display Style paper chart
Boundaries plain
Colors 4
Zoomdetaill +5

I also have marked

show soundings
Meta objects
Use Scamin

I do not remember at which settings the
bouys etc. filled partly or not at all with the appropriate coloring
but with the above settings everything seemd OK with the CM93 chart set

The rasterisation of the CM93 dataset especially on the inland charts is in large parts thanks to Pavel's (nohal) effort to make them look pretty

He has even got a GUI going to help us lot fill them in

I cannot reproduce this problem. Anyone else seeing problems with full database rebuild on Windows platform?

No problems with full rebuild with RC615a
  • Win 7 Home Ultimate 64 bit, very large chart set
  • Win XP Pro 32 bit, very small chart set
