Hi Eric,

Please zip it (should be much reduced in size) and then send it to my email, which I will give to you by PM.

Re: OpenCPN SIMRAD/LOWRANCE Radar Overlay PlugIn

I've had the chance to look at the Halo log, and it seems that Navico has decided to use completely different multicast addresses. However the data itself seems unchanged (or minimally so.)

This means the plugin won't work with Halo out of the box. Getting it to work with Halo only would be not that much work by setting a compile time flag. More work would be to have an option, and even more work would be to have it work with broadband and halo simultaneously.

Hi Mark
I read with interest that you had a working plug in for a Koden blackbox radar. Do you still have that please,?

I have a Nobeltec (Koden) radar with first Admiral then Trident software but I am increasingly frustrated by their policy of fleecing customers. Again the 3rd time in 4 years I have to pay for another upgrade in order to buy charts.

Open CPN would be the way to go if I can continue to use our radar with chart overlay

Thanks
ANDY
