See scren copy.
Confirmed. I will fix it and rerelease the plugin.

2 With Google Earth plugin.
The installation did not go well. He tried to update my version of Google Earth. And this has not been done.
More details, please. The plugin does absolutely nothing to GE itself. Neither during the installation, nor when it is running. It never tries to update it or anything else. I need to know exactly what was happening. Needless to say that I can't reproduce what you describe.

Thanks

JP...
Would you mind recording one for us? Preferably with a version that shows the values as well as with 3.3.2503 so we can compare whether we didn't start discarding some of the data erroneously in the core processing routines.

Thanks

Pavel

Nevermind,

Can you record a few minutes with the recorder of VDR? Even if you are still in port or at anchor.

And you provide the resulting file.

Thank you in advance.

The Dash-board plugins are listed in alphabetical order in Windows but not in Linux 64, when pressing the "Add" button.

Can I afford to use the French phrase "It's ****." (Sorry Pavel)

After that galley with GE, I tried to restart GE outside O. Impossible. I went through GE2KAP and it took me several tries to GE starts. I then closed GE. But GE did not attempt to be updated.

Then :
I raised O and the GE plugin. Again, it triggered an update to Google Earth. Update that can not succeed.

I managed, this time, using the cancel button to extricate myself from that galley.

Finally, GE opened correctly in O.

But when I tried to close O, O crashed completely. impossible to close. I'll still have to use once "Ctrl + Alt + Del". Pfuuuu.

I think I'll have to uninstall and re-install O.

Just a screen copy.

Gilletarom...
Let me use another phrase, pretty universal, "99.999% of computer errors come from between the chair and the keyboard."
What you see has nothing to do with OpenCPN or the GE plugin or GE2KAP. You simply somehow managed to break your Google Earth.

Ajoutez manuellement, l'extension ".doc" à la fin du nom du fichier. Et vous pourrez le mettre en ligne ici. De notre côté, nous enlèverons manuellement cette extension et tout ira bien.

Gilletarom.

RhythmDoctor...

What is the full name of your OpenCPN data directory?
You can find it in the help screen, logfile location.

Thanks
Dave

I can confirm this behavior using Hakan's "VDR_Simulation" file that he posted here. It is an intermittent problem - sometimes wind/compass/depth data show up properly on the dashboard, but sometimes they do not.

Gilletarom...

re:
- I click on "Tools (Outils in french) and I try the shortcut "Ctrl-" (completly below). Nothing occur. Is it normal ? I don't thing.

I think there is a misunderstanding here.
When a menubar item is visible, the characters shown on the right of the items are "hints" to remind user of the shortcut key to use when the menu is closed. While the menu is open, this kay may be inactive. The key to use is the first character of the item itself..

So, in French, "Alt-o", then "o", will get you the Options screen.
If the menu is not open, the "ctrl-," gets Options.

This is very old style of menubar navigation by keyboard. Not seen much anymore.

Thanks
Dave

Which OpenCPN version were you using while recording this file? I don't see any True wind data there...
What do you see in the NMEA debug window while running 3.3.3503?
