french translation

Hello.

Here is my last translation. It's uncomplete and not sure.
The .po file is attached. You have to take off the .doc extension to use it with Poedit and complete.

Hello Sarkis, poedit also produces a compiled .mo file, would you attach that as well?

Hello, here is my translation into Spanish. There are some expressions that can be improved, but 98% of them are ok.
I've tested it and works ok on OpenCPN Beta.

Swedish translation

... and the swedes are on the way.

I have translated as described in this post and it seems to work fine apart from some menu-strings. See attachments.

All strings in the .po-file are translated, but I cant find the missing ones, any ideas?

Thanks Arnand, I was wondering where the Swedish team was at . The strings you are referring to are still not included; the .po will grow with each beta, and require updating every so often..

Just to inform, - I have made release 2 of the danish translation, including all new strings in the latest version from sourceforge.net. I'll test it a few days before uploading again.

I don't have an AIS or a GPS attached at this PC, so some translations have to be 'not-tested'. Any feedback naturally welcome so far..

Swedish translation

And here comes my first version of the Swedish translation. Just tested at home so far, my boat (and GPS/AIS) is buried under the snow right now.

Ahoy translators...

There are new updated and merged .po files for 8 languages available in CVS repository now.

These .po files contain most (all??) of the translatable strings for the next release of opencpn. There are many new strings.....

If you have the time, please have a look at these files, update as necessary, and resubmit. If you can get them to me by Tuesday, they can be made part of the next release.

Please email the .po files (only) to me at the email address in Help->Authors.
I do not need the .mo files, as they are rebuilt by my Makefile automatically.

Thanks for the heroic work on this task. I am most impressed.

Dave
