Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

Hi Hubert,
Given medicine to OD, so hopefully it should be correct now.

As for the Parallel Index Line, it is talked about in two threads:
http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ml#post2167440

and
http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ta-175526.html

Hopefully this will help.

Regards
Jon

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

Hello Jongough,

About OD :

I walk my eyes on the web. Maybe I have a little understanding what a "parallel index line"

I have slightly improved some translations in OD this morning.

But I have not yet found a suitable translation, in French, for the expression "parallel index line"

So ... work in progress !

Gilletarom.

The translation (traduction) normally used is:-

as for the radar.

Thank. I see this.

But, alas, the state of my ears prevents me from understanding oral English. If one adds that the extent of my dictionary is limited, alas, this kind of document is of little use to me.

That said, I searched the web, found some info here or there. I think I'm beginning to understand a little bit what can be learned from this tool.
You should know that France is a little or no usual technique. This explains the absence of a word or an expression to name it.

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

Folks...
For the pending release of OCPN 4.6, I have updated the .pot files in crowdin.

An important change was made to the initial OCPN "welcome" message.
The message is now formatted as HTML, so that line breaks for layout are handled automatically, whatever language is selected.

I attach the English version for reference.

Please update your translations, so that we may proceed to the final Release Candidate stage.

Thanks
Dave

All
Also the plugin oeSENC_pi is close to be released. Crowdin is today updated with minor changes ready for your translations.

For those not familiar with this new plugin please have look at the wiki: https://opencpn.org/wiki/dokuwiki/do...:charts:oesenc

Translators:
The POT-file for plugin BR24Radar_pi is now updated in Crowdin. Please update "your" language and your translations will be included in the final plugin version 3.8.

Thanks for your efforts.

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

There's a new BR24radar_pi file uploaded to Crowdin previous week including latest and hopefully last changes before next release. Please check "your" language for new strings to translate. (EE, FI and SE are 100% ready)
Thanks
Håkan

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

Dear translator friends concerning the plugin BR24radar_pi.
This is close to the three-strike law but our excellent programmers have finally tuned the code and some text strings to complete it for the great next plugin release. And now I thrust we're eventually ready.
Crowdin and BR24radar_pi.pot is again updated with some new strings and your translation efforts will be appreciated.

Many thanks
Håkan
