Hi. I need help about celestial_navigation plugin spanish translation.

I create .po and .mo files (i run .pot file whit poedit) from https://github.com/seandepagnier/cel...tree/master/po.

I move .mo file to C:\[Program Files]\OpenCPN 3.3.1303\share\locale\es\LC_MESSAGES [Program Files= installation folder][es = spanish folder] renemed as: opencpn-celestial_navigation_pi.mo: .......but no show spanish text, only show english language .

No problems with grib and dasboard plugin translation to spanish language, .po and .mo files. Run OK in 3.3.1303. What is the problem in celestial_navigation plugin?

Trying several grib files, I have observed that in the weather table, there could be 3 untranslated items (an not only 2 as I said in my previous post).

First : I try AIS radar plugin. It seem Ok.

Second : here join french file language for this plugin version 0.97.

Third :

- The title of the AIS radar window is not translate. See join screen copy.

- There is an item "EBL". What do you undestand exactly by "EBL" ?

EBL is an nautical term witch is short for Electronic Bearing Line, mostly found on radars.

Concerning 3.3.1328.0
In this text it's a bit hard to evaluate the value of the resolution in order to make a understandable translation:

You request a forecast for more than 8 days horizon.\n
This is conflicting with Wave data which will be removed from your request.\n
Don't forget that beyond the first 8 days, the resolution will be only 2.5\\u00B0x2.5\\u00B0 and the time intervall 12 hours.

I could need some help- please.

Are you coordination with "arnand01" to avoid unnecessary work?
arnand01 is behind most of the Swedish translation.

No it's not at all my intention to interfere with arnand01. I was just looking into the file and made it for my own use. Call it a test. I can support if needed but arnand01 is the master and will certainly come up with his file when the beta is official. He's making a very good job with this.

Thanks for the info. I've tried to copy the degree sign in to Poedit but obviously we have different opinion about the sign code. That's probably what happened with your sign as well.

Missing words in Beta 3.3.1328
The following words are missing in the pushed "opencpn.pot":
"Marks" , "TideCurrentGraphRollover" and "AISTargetQuery".

I found the missing _("")-strings in the following files witch needs to be included into "POTFILES.in"
src/AISTargetQueryDialog.cpp
src/RolloverWin.cpp
src/RoutePoint.cpp

When I included these files in my "POTFILES.in" and updated the .POT file the missing words and some more I haven't recognised where ready for translation in the .po file.

Some word that are not translated. See screen copy.

"Yes" and "No" : When we go in route context menu, then "Delete ..." or "Reverse ..."

"Printing", "Please wait while printing" and "Cancel" : When we use the print Route/track button in route properties window.
