So the trend is so clearly to not translate the abbreviations.
But as I started to update the German translation/ language file I recognized that it becomes harder and harder to know to which part/ section of OCPN a certain string belongs (latest pot file contains more than 700 strings).
But this may be important (essential) for the correct translation. Another problem is that some messages are platform specific. So I could hardly ever see any Linux
specific message on my Windows system.
Is there a way around this problem?
How do you handle this problem?
Is there a possibility to split the pot file into sections (just for the translation) like 'Route Manager', 'ToolBox', 'AIS window', 'Context/ Right-Click menu', etc.?
