You will find the correct link on this page
About OpenCPN | Official OpenCPN Homepage

The link is also available in OpenCPN itself. Click the icon that looks like a book with a "?" on.

Thanks!

Thomas
Thanks for the response... I'm just getting around to checking now and it looks like the main page has the donate button back and working again. Again thanks to everyone that has contributed to OPENCPN

I think you might be dreaming. Sorry. Its not that easy.
Do a search on Charts on the website, & use Chart downloader.

Re: OpenCPN General

Hi all,
Would it be possible to get plugin sources listed for linux other then pointing to the ubuntu ppa repo? Ideally a link to a github page would be great or the authors own website. I think it is great that there is an ubuntu ppa available but I dislike ubuntu for varied reasons and prefer to install from source.

levinster82...
Links to the source code repositories for each and every plugin are on the download page, just click on "Source Code" link for the plugin you are interested in.

Re: OpenCPN General

Thanks for the new Range Rings feature. I love it. It's great with satellite images (kap files) to pick an exact spot to anchor. I posted a little video showing how we're using the feature here:

Range Rings on openCPN | Two At Sea

I can't tell you how much we appreciate openCPN. (I guess it's once again time to show my appreciation with a $$$ donation!)

Who deleted the entire Supplementary Software Book and why!! No matter who it was I think there should be a discussion before doing this. This is a pita.

Re: OpenCPN General

Now I see that Sup. Software has been moved to be under opencpn user manual. This is incorrect and I will change it . Please who ever is mucking around with outline, please look at the results and fix it if it is wrong.

OpenCPN General Web Site OpenSUSE URL

Hello,

I maintain the OpenCPN packages for OpenSUSE and I have noticed that the OpenCPN web site, for OpenSUSE, points toward my building test sandbox what is not the safest option.

Could you please redict the OpenSUSE URL to the OpenSUSE OpenCPN page.
https://en.opensuse.org/OpenCPN

This is the safest way to keep some stability for our users.

Thanks.

Re: OpenCPN General

Dominig, I believe that for the longest time https://en.opensuse.org/OpenCPN was outdated compared to yours link. Eventually Pavel changed it. Now it needs to be changed back I guess.

Not likely. I own that page as the official maintainer of the package and I keep it up to date in multiple languages.
Before the creation of that page, i requested a change to be done when I had to change the package name about 18 months a ago, but with that page we are now independant from package name or location changes.
That page is fixed.

Ok, that change is what I remembered. Sorry if this confuses the request.
