OpenCPN does not start on WIN 2000 sp4

Hello everybody.
I am trying to get OpenCPN working on my CF-28 where windows 2000 Sp4 is installed.
OpenCPN installation ends fine, without errors, but if i try to start the program, nothing happen.

Dependency Walker says that the program is looking for two missing dll:

GDIPLUS.DLL and APPHELP.DLL

I would void to reinstall all computer from cratch... i have already MaxSea and other programs running fine on it....

Please, anyone already solved this problem?

Thank you very much.

Stefano

Re: OpenCPN does not start on WIN 2000 sp4

Stefano...
GDI+ should be present on all Windows machines. If it's really not there, try to get it from Download: Platform SDK Redistributable: GDI+ - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details
APPHELP.DLL should not be an issue - 4th answer in Dependency Walker Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
If you are trying 2.6 beta, forget about it for now, it will not work on Windows 2000 at all.
