Updated 1.3 version does NOT have a bug according to Douwe. Douwe reports:

Version 1.3 (last fall):

• Improved performance (better OpenGL calls)
• Support for dual radar mode (4G only)
• Various improvements to dialogs and radar state
• Various fixes to guard zones
• Multi sweep filter added. This allows a more stable image by averaging over multiple radar scans
• New ''Advanced > Installation'' menu allows control of bearing alignment, antenna height, local interference rejection and side lob suppression
• Radar-only support without GPS or heading
• Hot switching between radar chart overlay and radar only display
• Radar controls (such as gain, sea state, etc.) now reflect actual radar settings instead of desired value from plugin. This allows cooperation between multiple OpenCPN installs and/or one or more chart plotters

Update 1.3 (no bug)
It has lots of new functionality. It is the first release that is stable, all earlier versions would crash sooner or later. This one just runs day after day. I feel that the only thing that is wrong with 1.3 is that it is too good. Merrimac are you afraid that no one will use it? Don't worry, I [ will stop the maintenance as soon as there is a better version.

Hi Rick,

There are no known errors in the version just published. The error I referred to is in the older original 1.3 and is corrected in the updated version, also called 1.302 (located in my branch update1.3)

Sorry about this but we seem to be fighting the language locale wars in WD. Changes do not seem to be getting through to the 'mo' files even though they are in the 'po' files. I have just updated WD again and managed to get the files correct in my build, but you 'may' not have them correct in yours. I have just put up patch 1.9.039 of WD here:

and got Dutch working as far as I can tell. You may want to build 039 and check that your installable does have the language files correct. I did this by 'installing' Dutch on my test VM and selecting Dutch in OCPN then looking in the WD dialogs for english words like 'Boundary', 'Active', etc. I seem to have got rid of these but it did take multiple passes through making the POT/PO/MO files and packaging before it all seemed to work.

Should I just delete my local and git clone? Would that take care of any problems?

Rick,
I am not sure removing your local version will help. It seems you need to run 'make watchdog-pot-update', make watchdog-po-update' then do a 'build-all' in VS followed by the 'package' and you 'may' get all the files you need. It took a couple of runs through this for me to be convinced all the 'mo' files were correct.
