That is caused by a typo in navutil.cpp
"OwnshipHDTPredictorMinutes" instead of "OwnshipHDTPredictorMiles"

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.3.2118 Released

Dave,

ASUS EeePC 1015H, W 7 Starter.

A little bug, no doubt, a problem of screen refresh, with O 332118.

See, first, below, all plugin installed on my version.

Open the dashboard (no problem)
close the dashboard

Then, several icons appear twice. See screenshot.

Just take an action, such as moving the screen or click on another icon, for everything to put in order in the icon bar.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.3.2118 Released

I have seen these strange AIS artifacts for a few month. I spite of all changes to rendering they are still there. They are seen at a fairly small scale both using CM93 and Raster charts. No big deal I'm mainly curious.
Can anyone else see the same triangles?

Thomas...
Yep, can see them. As you say, they still didn't get annoying enough to have a look where they come from...

Seems that this computer does not support the Intel SSE2 instruction set.
What type of machine/CPU is this?

Thanks

Correct this machine does not support SSE2:

AMD Athelon XP 3200+

Sorry, I saw a discussion regarding this earlier, but did not realize it had been implemented, or that is would cause this type of crash.

Perhaps some sort of check could be added to avoid future confusion.

JM.

Where are you, please, and what charts?

Thanks
Dave
I have the CM93 charts, a few raster charts, and a bunch of converted Google Earth images of local harbors; The raster chart most used for my area is 14810 (Olcott N.Y. to Toronto).

If I zoom in from 14810 my harbor charts are displayed; I can overzoom about 20 steps.

If I zoom in from CM93 in the same area I do not get to the harbor charts; I can only Overzoom about 9 steps.

It's not a big deal, just an example of a situation where you want to zoom in to see some detail that is not actually part of the chart you are currently using.

Thanks,
JM.

It is perhaps a "lost triangel of a high speed craft". While tracking the chart with the mouse the object is moving with about twofold speed of coordinate-grid.

For me just clicking one time on the blue chart bar one time and then zooming will show rasters details
