GRIB on 3.3.1117 is generating some Crash reports. I have not analyzed the reports yet, but I will have some info soon.

Just to confirm that the Swedish -sv-SE-po-file included in the 3.3.1117 is not giving the variable for "AIS Target Name" font change. I've tested a completely new installation on a W7 PC that hasn't run OCPN before. The font change variable didn't showed up before I use the po file attached in post: http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ml#post1395259 above. (Even though I have had a lot of green targets on the screen, and the feature activated before the file change)
Maybe some Swede can do the same test to confirm?

First : Please read also this previous post : #18 in this thead.

Second :

In the "List of AIS Targets", I note that various items have disappeared from the OCPN pot file:
- Call (2nd column title)
And some buttons on the right:
- Target info
- Create WP
- Limit Range
- Target count

In the window information transmitted by AIS target items also disappeared from the OCPN pot file:
- Class
- Report age
- Heading
- Turn rate

Hello non-English testers...

Yes, there is some trouble with .po files in 3.3.1117. The root cause of the build defect is not clear, but affects at least the sv_SE and fr_FR translations. Maybe more....

The solution for 3.3.1117....
I have updated all of the .pot and .po files on github. Unfortunately, some previous translation strings may have been lost, especially related to AIS system messages. I apologize for the repeat work required to update these .po files again.

Regarding 3.3.1117 GRIB crashes:

We are getting a number of crash dumps within GRIB_PI. Unfortunately, the crash dumps do not give us enough information to fully determine the root cause of the crash. In particular, we cannot determine the user actions which cause the crash to occur.

So, if you are getting, or have submitted, crash reports during GRIB activities, please reply here with further information regarding the crash:
- Grib settings, etc.
- Dialogs open, mouse clicks, etc.

No problem. We have the necessary patience. Your job and OpenCPN are are too valuable for all users.

From my side I'm traveling and I will new translations in the coming week. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday.

I get a crash every time I try to open a GRIB file with the 2.2 version of the PI, 2.1 seems fine.

What is the latest version of the PI by the way?

The grib-plugin is always a part of OpenCPN, so the version is 3.3.1117.
There is no separate download available for this plugin.
Which leads to the question, what plugin are you talking about?
