Exactly. The Route manager tab shows an eye if the route is visible, and no eye icon if it's hidden. We want the waypoint manager to show the waypoint custom icon, but also it's visibility state. So if the waypoint is hidden the icon is too.

Could be improved of course, but with a lot of work for little gain...

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.1.802 Released

...but I too did have it stick the FIRST time ,(as Surveyor/Jim described), when I went to check out what he was seeing . I dropped some quick Marks on the chart as a test in an empty route-manager...and, my icons were visible on the chart, but not in the route-manager. Clicking the blanks did NOT work until I restarted O and now everything works fine and I haven't had it happen again.. ... I have only just dropped this new opencpn.exe into the Portable Folder today. (yes, I am a pretty lazy tester- I really should do cleaner installs apart from just checking for changed dlls, etc....)

Hmm... In that case I'd be happy to revisit this if someone can reproduce the issue using a proper installation with a known state.... (I can't reproduce it)

But anyway, this prompted me to fix the misalignment of the icons in the Waypoint Mgr and properties popup!

Solution: Clear enough, fixed and pushed to github master.

Workaround for non-source builders with 3.1.802: Use only one data source at a time. May be either type, IDX or tcd.

Sorry for the goose chase.

Yes, your fix works!
Thanks

19. Implement double-click query for waypoints, routes, and tracks. JesperWe
Any good way to implement a shortcut to the first (if any) links associated with the waypoint? Middleclick or CTRL+click ?
This would help when viewing the built in info for a waypoint and when using O as an interactive cruising guide.

23. Implement new World Chart as small scale background.
Very nice. This will definitely make it easier for beginners. All the black background, when no charts are installed, seems to confuse quite a few.
It also helps when viewing the odd Transverse Mercator chart, where there also tended to be a lot of black areas.

Interesting. My incident was a fresh install, first timer too. It is fine now, which is good.

Jesper, thanks for fixing the offset. The first time I saw it I was compelled to check my icons for center by ultra overzooming on a grid intersection

Because all icons can now be show or hidden, which means that the checkbox for the Print icon in the Settings window was not needed anymore.

Try the right-click context menu in the toolbar.

For your other stuff I don't know since the Cruisersforum web server is broken from where I am so I can't see any images...

Super-thanks for ability to fiddle with the buttons JesperWe! ...I was clucking at that Print Button too ( "ruk-ruk-ruk" means "Oh no-not another button! Where will it end?" in gullspeak )
when I discovered I could make it go away! Not saying it's not a handy feature, though.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.1.802 Released

Situation: I have CM93 and some raster charts loaded in quilting mode and have removed the CM93 from the quilt. If right clicking on the new world background chart I still have the option to "Remove from quilt".
Obviously, the option should not be shown in this context.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.1.802 Released

It's not only CM93. Basically as soon as you have removed all renderable charts from the quilt you still get a no-op "Remove this chart from the quilt" menu item.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.1.802 Released

Dave, I tried to look at the "Remove chart from quilt" issue, but it's beyond me. Seems the root of the problem is that ChartDB::BuildChartStack() doesn't know about the new under-zoom rendering limit. But is that the right place to fix it...? It doesn't feel that way to me...
