Opencpn and NMEA2000
Hi there,

i Have installed a simnet NMEA2000 network and would like to connect it to opencpn. I'll try to do it va an actisense ngt 1, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions? Does opencpn supports NMEA2000 at all?

Any comment highly appreciated.

Hi Johannas
A quick response; I believe OpenCPN only supports NMEA0183 standard so you need a converter to translate NMEA2000 to NMEA0183.

Google brings up the Actisense NGW-1 not the NGT-1?
