OPENCPN & Imray-DMA-Caribbean

I have Imray-DMA-Caribbean charts. Can I display them with OPENCPN?

Not very likely, but perhaps if the chart set is very old.
What plotter are you using right now for these charts?
What is the file extension for the chart files?

Last time I used Imray Caribbean charts they were horrible. You may prefer NV Charts or the British Admiralty folios.

The ext are: DATA1.HDR & M00011S0.A01 thru .A10 then .B01 thru /B10.

OK so you have the, by now very old hdr/pcx charts. Late eighties/early nineties Maptech technology. Your charts must be around 15 years old, or so.

OpenCPN cannot directly display these carts as explained in the OpenCPB Documentation - https://opencpn.org/wiki/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=opencpnpencpn_user_manual:charts:cha rt_formats

A modern alternative is, as mentioned earlier by Barnakiel, the NV charts. Another alternative is to buy UKHO S63 vector charts through http://o-charts.org/.

Looking ahead, maybe a year or so, and you will probably find native OpenCPN vector charts for the Caribbean, based on UKHO cartography. Keep checking http://o-charts.org/ , for new chart releases.
