Yes that's the right page as content. But the link contained "hard coding" in the plugin menu Weather-routing is not good.

Before "opencpn.org/ocpn/weather_routing_plugin"
Now: "opencpn.org/ocpn/Plugins_external_weather_routing"

Two ways to solve the problem:
First: Give this page to the place where it was before.
Second: Edit the plugin, update, and recompile it

I have not yet figured out how to Upload to my File Directory files that are not image files. I notice that someone has managed to do that for the first vector file download. The path seems to be

Yes, the Time Interval matters because the checking for boundaries is determined by the weather_routing time interval. Make the time interval less if the boundary is missed. It takes more computing time however.

OpenCPN Android User Manual

How do we create such a thing without recreating the entire manual?
How do we make it really simple?
What is necessary? - Just "Getting Started with OpenCPN Android"?

We should discuss the best and most efficient approach. I do not want to repeat things in the manual already! But we need to provide guidance for the most troublesome new user aspects.

Any ideas or thoughts would be welcome.

If you look in the wifi 4.2, you will see that the page on the files to change colors, is updated since last night.
Dave has a post about it in the thread of 4.2.
And it was he who uploaded the file, I sent him directly at his request.

1. We now have help pages for editing the User Manual

and 14 sub-pages

2. Page refers to updating the 4.0 manual when it should be 4.2

I am trying to add a few things to the documentation and can't find what bdbcat wrote regarding special File Uploads.

I know Gilletarom pointed me to the Bdbcat post, as we both had the same question, but I cannot seem to find it now. I would like to use that post to update this page which I just started.

For security reasons, Dave asked me to send him the file on a link he had given me. Then he sent me a link so I can return "linker" file in the manual page 42.
