OpenCPN 3.2.2 without SP3

Hello,
I would like to upgrade OpenCPN to the 3.2.2 version, without installing Win XP SP3 ! as my computer does not have the capacity to store SP3.
Is there a way not to install SP3 but just few modules or few DLL that OpenCPN needs out of SP3 ?

Thank you for your explainations.
I have found the dll's and installed them, in several ways. However, when I install OpenCPN 3.2.2, it still requires SP3 as a pre requisite.
Any idea how to be blocked by this request ?

Just copy the installed program from another machine. Of course you could probably also use the registry trick from the post linked by Happy.

I wanted to note that the mingw builds work fine on all versions of windows, including the cases where the visual studio version does not work:

1. no service pack 3 requirement
2. wine linux (possibly freebsd and macosx)
3. parallels on macosx old windows versions.

This makes it very valuable to developers to test builds on windows if they do not have windows. This has helped me greatly in plugin development in the past few months.

Shall we post this link somewhere on the download page for people who cannot install service pack 3, and for those who prefer a free toolchain?
