Downloaded and installed. Looks great. A big thank-you to all who contributed. Your work is the equivalent of magic to us code-challenged folks.

Try the DEBs from https://launchpad.net/~opencpn/+archive/opencpn - I don't know which debian release are you using, but the Launchpad packages for old Ubuntu (maverick or lucid) versions should probably have the right dependencies for you...

Thanks much, but download the source and compiled and that seems to have done the trick.

Re: OpenCPN 3.2.0 Released

Only because I have found the link in release announcements in the past.

Source code can be downloaded here: git clone -b release32_stable https://github.com/OpenCPN/OpenCPN.git Taken from the opencpn.org downloads page.

Re: OpenCPN 3.2.0 Released

Anybody have any idea why I'm getting this result trying to download source? Tried two times, same result.

Cloning into OpenCPN...
remote: Counting objects: 14773, done.
remote: Compressing objects: 100% (4280/4280), done.
error: RPC failed; result=56, HTTP code = 200B | 11 KiB/s
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
fatal: early EOF
fatal: index-pack failed
warning: https unexpectedly said: '0000'

As the crowd gathered, slowly, a chant began to form. Quietly at first, it soon spread throughout the gathering throng, until the sound reverberated off the very stone itself.

"MAC release! MAC release! MAC release!"

If that lovely poem happens to be Shakespeare wasn't it Mac Beth, not Mac release?

There might be somebody with the skills to pull the MAC version together while Dave is taking his well deserved time-out....

And we have still the Beta - probably not that bad neither - at
http://opencpn.org/ocpn/downloads/be...N_3.1.1319.dmg

If you are in a hurry and the Beta is not what you need: You convince a MAC wizard to support the project

The more active supporters the better.

Re: OpenCPN 3.2.0 Released-Chart Group snag

Many thanks to the team for the latest version.

Only snag I've found so far is the inability to delete a chart file that has been loaded into a chart group. Have found it necessary to create a new group with the desired chart files then delete the group with the unwanted file(s)
