OpenCPM 5.0 on Windows 10 crashing

I updated my version 4.X to the latest 5 version on a Windows 10 laptop, but the app crashes each time I open it up and try to zoom in the chart.

I downgraded to version 4.X and it works fine on the same laptop.

Could it be your graphics card would fit to the discussions in below link? If so please try the linked OCPN patch.
