Open Cpn. display freeze

I'm using OpenCCpn version 5 on a Gigabyte Brix wih AMd chip and display drivers. I'm also using Display Link software to run a USB powered and data connect monitor ( AOC Brand). Have install normal plugins, Osenc, S63,Chartt Downloader, Polar, Grib ,WMM, and Weatherfax. all latest. Now to my problem.
Aftter about 1 1/4 run time, boat moving or not, display freezes, but program must still be running as I'm getting NMEA data output to Autopilot.
I'm attaching log file that shhows what has been happening. I'm not skilled enough to determine what the potential error maybe. Any help is appreciated.
this same configeration worked under version 4.8.8 with out issue.

Re: Open Cpn. display freeze

This looks related to FS#1705, O 4.0 from early 2016, that was not solved.
