If there are likely to be complications in using Windows 10 and Open CPN, are there enough advantages with Windows 10 with other uses of my computer to justify the time and trouble that I might spend getting Open CPN to function satisfactorily?
Win 10 will try to at any time use a lot of bandwidth witch is not always welcome on-board a vessel. To stop the "marketing" campaign from microsoft urging you to upgrade to windows10, you can use a small program Stop "Windows 10 Nagging and Spying. Works with Win7-10" that will disable this behavior. see link:
I know many people is using win10 with opencpn
, and opencpn
runs well on win10, but really, what will win 10 contribute to your navigation
??, still struggling to find any positive,,
