Open CPN 5.0 Dual Chart view crashing

Once Dual Chart window is chosen in settings and functioning it is not possible to go back and chose single chart view without crashing OpenCPN.
Windows 10 all updates to OS.
Are there any ini settings that can be reset to force Single Chart View at Restart of application?

I have tested your scenario on Win 10, and can't repeat what you experience. Changing from single to dual charts just works.

The setting in the ini file looks like this

.....
[Canvas]
CanvasConfig=1
...

0 -> single chart window
1 -> dual chart window

As always....don't edit the file wit O running.


Have a look at the Templates feature, it may solve your problems.

What is the file name of the INI file and what folder is it located in.
