OCPN Crew is Wonderful

You guys are amazing. You've produced a robust, capable piece of software that can compete with anything else out there and you keep improving it. There's always somebody ready to provide support for newbs who need assistance getting started. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Yesterday I decided to tackle linking O to my (antique) Cetrek Autopilot. And I today I can say that, thanks largely to the tools you now provide within O, I have been successful. I tried the same project about a year ago and I don't know whether it was me or the software but the attempt was a dismal failure. Not so this time. I haven't untied from the dock yet but I'm confident I have a connection and I'll find out for sure in the next couple of day.

Thank you again guys for all you do.

Stardate...

Copied from OCPN web site: OpenCPN | Official OpenCPN Homepage where the very most of its advantages is clear. Also a wonderful and up to date wiki is present.

Platforms
* Windows XP, Vista and 7
* Linux, BSD, Solaris
* Macintosh OSX

I know nothing about google crom... But why don't you give it try? It's said to be compilable to every platforms.

Re: OCPN Crew is Wonderful

Not meaning to quarrel with you Hakan, but that Chromebook appears to be an Android platform. Somebody here has a project underway to port OCPN to Android but, AFAIK, right now it doesn't run on Android.
