No chart data above 40deg North

Have 4.6.1 Installed but have a line all around the globe at 40 Deg North that will not display chart data above. Any ideas please

Which charts did you install? Can you try just another chart set from a different source?
Somebody else reported a similar case some days before, but did not report back when asked to install other charts.
Might be some strange chart set exists in the wild?

There're a lot of people sailing North of 40 and no known issues...

Thanks for the replys everyone, Unfortunately I only have one chart set and I did deleate it and then reinstalled it to no avail. I never had a problem with my last version however the problem is that I dont often use this system so I dont know if this was still the case when I updated to 4.6.1!!!! I either have to ask around to try someone elses chart set or revert back to an older version. ?????? (or buy a more up to date chart set AAAAAGH!) ideas...

By evidence of thousands of user downloads without problems, OCPN 4.6.1 works fine for previous cm93 chart sets. So if a chart set works on O44, then that same set should work on O461.

If you find this not to be the case, then there must be something different about the chart set available to O461.

I have the same problem. On our screen, there is that note above 40N. It looks runics, and I could only decipher one word - "dragons" (???)

It was definitely downloaded from a poluted web site with virus. I had the same and got it from somewhere else.

At the risk of receiving the wrath of the 'politically correct police', here is my download link for two versions of the cm93 chart sets of 2007. This edition is my favorite since later editions deleted detail in the SE Asia area in favor of other areas. The two sets include the full 80N-80S and a smaller version 40N-40S for those of us who think that the word 'cold' is a four-letter word

Either version works well in all versions of OpenCPN.
