new user st60 to opencpn vis usb?

Hello

New guy here hi. Purchased 2001 hunter 410 with perfect st60 raymarine instruments. Depth/temp, wind, speed. I have been trying to research a interface to windows pc running 8.1. and this great chart plotter program opencpn. Any info available here? I am thinking actisense ngw-usb unit? Plug in a raymarine cable from depth unit st60 into actisense unit then from there to pc via the USB connector? Am I on the right track?
Thank you
Devee
