I just can't seem to get my head
. Any help here MUCH appreciated!
My main nav laptop
v4 with Navigatrix, and seems to work fine right now.
My backup machine has Linux
Mint 17 installed, and I just don't seem able to get OpenCPN
updated from v3 to v4.
I think I have to add a repository, that I thought I'd got right, only now when running the Synaptic Package Manager, I get the following error message:
E: Type ‘ppa
encpn/opencpn’ is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialogue to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
I don't understand what that means.
When I look at the list of PPA's there are two entries for OpenCPN. I'd be most grateful for any help aimed at one who simply cannot get his head
