Re: Migration issues from earlier version to OpenCPN V5.0.0.9065270

Good, so there is no problem with OpenCPN displaying KAP charts, but there is a problem with either your charts or workflow...

First of all, please turn on the chart outline display, there will be red outline around each raster chart, shown or not. Do not continue to anything else until this is the case. Check on the NOAA charts that do display.

When you are positive you see the outlines, move back to your charts, remove all the chart directories from the configuration and add one (= 1, not one and cm93, not two, one) directory where you are absolutely sure there are KAP charts.
Rebuild the chart database.
If you still won't be able to find anything, post the logfile and one, any, of those charts.

OK
have enabled chart outline and there are red boxs around the NOAA charts.

I had already prior to you saying don't do anything else added one of my directories to the default install. I also noted that as part of the install the zoom scale factor was reset back to 0 and you had previously advise this may need to be higher.

My Kap files also have the red box around them

Zooming in brings the blue button at the bottom, but the image does not appear, unless you click on the blue button, then it does.

I wont do anything else from here on as requested.

So you have no problem, everything works. Now set the zoom/scale weighting higher and your kaps will start getting displayed sooner.
