Mandriva 2010 rpm

I have converted the latest debian to Mandriva 2010 RPM. It works perfect. If someone are interested I can post it.

Hey Jonas.
No problem, but I don't know where to post it. Do you have a mail address because I don't think I'm allowed to post it here?

Maybe it could be hosted on the sourceforge project?
I think the rpm wuold be quite generic, converted from the .deb package, right?

An alternative could be opendesktop.org, though they do have file size restrictions.

Yea, I don't know where to put it but I will wait to see if someone have some ideas.

I suggested that the file could be stored at the opencpn sourceforge project, alongside the .deb package

Great. RPM:s are needed. The question is how to assure a minimum quality of the package? Suggestions, anyone ?
Terje, why don't you pm jonasaberg, and mail him your rpm.
Jonas, you are appointed the Mandriva rpmbeta tester, if you don't mind??
Report back how you get along.
Terje, are you prepared to be the maintainer of this package?
This means, at least, to update the rpm for stable releases and handle bug reports.

Sounds like a plan to me if Terje agrees to maintain. I believe I can place on sourceforge in Dave's absence. Thomas, if you don't mind - you give the final ok this time, since you have the most project context w/linux history on this thread.

Other thoughts & comments always welcome.

Hi Thomas. I mailed the RPM to Jonas yesterday.
Regarding the maintainer job: I am a serviceengineer who travel alot between california, Norway and Malaysia and I'm afraid that I can not be responsible for this due to heavy workload and alot of travelling. If needed to transfer files, I have a webserver in my basement with an easy to use java interfaced ftp server. I can make a Opencpn admin account on this one....
