That's how it looks in my win7 laptop.

Just tried it on the Pi with the hardware opengl turned off, looks the same.

It's compiled from here ; git clone https://github.com/delatbabel/LogbookKonni-1.2 LogbookKonni_pi
Unfortunately the latest code is in github.com/ptulp/Logbookkonni-1.2
I cannot get a hold of Del, so his Logbookkonni repository is a few steps behind.
So try to compile from my code. Should be version 1.2023.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

There is a problem in Linux.
The buttons in the bottom status bar are working but there is no colored ball displayed to indicate the status.
Also in the Meteo Clouds column the clouds pictures are not displayed.
As I don't have any changes in this area lately, I guess it has something to do with the wxWidgets 3.0.2 version.
Needs some investigation.

logbookkonni_pi-1.2024-ov4.2-del-win32

Had a chance to build it. Ptulp's earlier version is under Earlier Plugins directory.

#2009: Using a smaller (standard) font, the height of the title row is just about right. See picture.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

I never changed anything and I am using the standard. I thought you possibly might have changed something ...

I'll try to find if there is a font setting available for this.

Strange. You use the standard version too. You see correctly all text on two lines while I do not see them properly.

Cause? W 8.1? my screen size? Quality of my pixel screen? This is a recurring problem that appears with recent machines.

Anyway, it's boring. And I'm bored, I even spend my time to report this kind of inconvenience. It bothers developers.

Not completely true: the down part of letters like g and j are not visible, but it is still well readable.

I couldn't find any setting, so possibly you are right that the cause of your unreadable title rows is somewhere outside OpenCPN and the plugin.

It is not a bad idea though, to ask for a title row that adapts it's height to the number of lines inside.

If the cause is outside OpenCPN plugin, then a solution is to give the user the ability to manually adjust the height of the column headers (in Logbook and FindIt).

Best regards. Gilletarom.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

As I am not at home now I cannot make any changes to the plugin until I return.

Gilletarom:
Regarding your tracker #2012.
I noticed this problem when I had some incorrect Layoutfiles.
Could you make sure that the correct Layoutfiles are downloaded and installed from the Download Plugin page.
There is a link in the description of the Logbook plugin.

Peter.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hi there,

I am new to openPCN and just started configuring and testing rel 4.2 on a Mac rel OSX 10.13, in view of putting in operation on my new catamaran in July.
So far, so good. I am really impressed. Thanks to all those who make it happen.

I just started with Logbook, but am stuck in initial configuration: I cant find the logbook layouts zip file which is requested. The user manual states to download it thru the official download page, but I cant find a way.

Can anybody help with this? Thanks

Patrick
