Good evening Konny

I think your point of view for my ask (start/stop timer logbook) it s very nice. I can test it if you have already make a beta version.
Thanks for your response.

Hello Daniel,

my fault, i disabled the button because it's not nessesary for win, but forget to enable for Linux.

i append the spanish translation-file. it's from a very early state of the logbook and is only partitialy translated
please delete the .doc at the end and store it (as root) in
usr/local/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES.

sudo cp your_path_to/opencpn-logbookkonni_pi.mo usr/local/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES/opencpn-logbookkonni.mo

sorry for the inconvenience.

best regards,
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

I've uploaded a preview (1.186) for version 1.2 on sourceforge.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL THIS PREVIEW NEVER use logbook version 1.1 and the preview parallel (= two logbookicons in the toolbar) !!!

The logbookformat on the disc has changed. On startup all version 1.1-datafiles are stored to a backup-folder
(win 7 = C:\ProgramData\opencpn\plugins\logbook\data\Backup _1_1)
and converted.
Save the backup-folder AGAIN at a different location to have annother copy, in case something went wrong !!
You'll be asked on shutdown the logbook or OpenCPN to restore the 1.1 files.

please click the help-button in the logbook-tab and read the help to get information about the new features.

New features:
- Date and Time-format can be changed in options by user
- 3 timers now
- individual watchlist
- statusbar for events
- new button help in logbook-tab

please post the bugs you found with a short description that i can
reproduce the bug.
At most interests me if the dateformat conversion and the watchlist works .

best regards
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello Konni,

At home for few days.

This day I try V1.181 and now I try V1.186.

First with this last version, in "Preferences" I try "Date format" = local format. In this case, it is impossible to change the date format but if I click "ok" I see that this is not accepted.

see screen copy.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hi Konni
I have successfully tested the new version of the logbook during the weekend. You did a very good job.
It is much easier to start up and reactivated.

Just one thing is quite annoying during navigation :
When the logbook add line in the logbook, it takes the focus while the viewing map is most important.
Can you modify this ?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Gilletarom,

you're realy fast, the files is just uploaded.

You're right, i have to block the check of the choiceboxes when local is selected. The dateformat then is taken from the selected language in the main prg.

switch to individual again, select e.g. day, month year, go back to local, on OK
is set to local now. i correct this tomorrow.

But what interests me more : are the convertions correct ?
This is the point which makes me nervous at the moment.
When thie convertion gets wrong, i have to imigrate to mars with over
4800 downloads all over the world of version 1.1 with the old dateformat.

best regards,
konni

Hello Edelvoiler,

thank's for reply.

In Options/Behavoir is a checkbox for the pop-up of the logbook.
Uncheck it and the logbook shoud'nt pop-up on a event (e.g timer).

best regards
konni
