Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hi Konni,

in the Maintenance tab:
if I want to add a line for servicing the engines, the default "If" "Warnvalue" etc is NM.
Engine service is done on reaching the prescribed No of hours, is there a way to change the default?

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hi Stefano,

good news that it runs now with a correct background.

if you like to translate to italian, you are welcome.
i'll upload the pot-file to sourceforge, but not today (football-freetime germany vs. israel).
how the translation-process works is described here.

in maintenance in the if-field is a dropdown-box, select here 'Engine #1 Total'.
the warn/Urgentvalue switch to hours. set e.g. warn = 1h, urgent = 2h, switch to
logbook-tab go into the last line and insert 1h/2h in engine #1.

i found another bug, in the first line of a new logbook AH has a red (urgent) background. i fix this tomorrow.

'til then
konni

if you mean AIS, no. but this could be a option for the future.

if you mean your own ship, yes.
select in the rightclick-menu 'set timer interval', insert 15 minutes,
click OK and select in the rightclick-menu 'timer on/off'.

if you use version 0.910 of the plugin, you don't have a rightclick-menu for the interval,
please set the timer-interval in logbook-preferences.

best regards
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hi konni
Thanks for a great plugin!

When trying to input a date on the 'Buy Parts" tab of the Maintenance page,
the frame of the calendar is too small and only part of the calendar is visible. You cannot enter a date.

Logbook Version 0.920
Windows XP and screen resolution 1680 X 1050. (changing screen resolution has no effect)
Cheers
Brian

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello Konni
The calendar works properly on my Win 7 computer. Since I use Win 7 on the boat PC, all is good.
Cheers

Hi Konni,
this morning the line was Red and the left click had no effect in the "if" dropdown box.
Right click had the delete line etc etc. ; see screenshot No2

Tonight the line was green and the left click worked OK, see screenshot No3.

The only difference is that this morning I was navigating, now I am in port.

Is that normal?

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hi Stefano,

it seems (image 1), that you add hours in the engine-field (logbook) >= 1(cannot see the amount inserted).
if you had reset the hours in the field to 0 (only for testing) or in maintenance rightclick 'service done' (normal) then it should be green and the border white.
'service done' takes the new amount from the engine-hours-field (logbook) as startvalue in maintenance.

i uploaded 0.921. the time-dialog is resizeable, the help-files are
now zip-files and will load in the options-dialog with install layouts, the option GPSAuto didn't work correct, it's fixed, maintenance also has a few fixes.

best regards
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Ive just downloaded logbook_win32_pi15_v01_pi and installed it in the plugins directory of opencpn. I have tried several times to activate it but it does not show up in the plugin directory?

it seems to me, that you didn't download here for OCPN-Beta or here for OCPN 2.5.
the file should appear as logbookkonni_pi.dll in your plugins-folder
it has a exe-installer for windows. please look at the readme for the
path (beta only) before installing

best regards,
konni
