There is a problem when there is only a member of crew and when we said "No" in place of "Yes" in the "OnBoard" colum.
If there is only a member of crew with "No" in "OnBoard" colum, it seem impossible to clic on the name of the "onboard colum"
If I create a second member of crew, all seem OK.
??? or perhaps, I do not understand what to do

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN
Hello spiv, hello Gilletarom, hello Jacekpio
to spiv:
i've just added the columns for a second engine, a generator and
a watermaker. tomorrow i'll add AH for the battery. Can you give a help
for a correct english column-name ? is a "%-column" nessesary/better/both?
i'll implement 1/4... in fuel and water also.
to Gilletarom:
you are right, it's a bug. i correct this in the next version.
as a workaround insert a dummy-member, than you have the rightclick-menu again.
select here all crewmembers.
to Jacekpio:
i didn't forget you, your suggestion about the watch is on my todo-list.
polish translation updates are implemented and come with the next version of the logbook
best regards,
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN
Hello Deva,
word (only a preview i think 2010) was gone with my last computer,
but it has displayed the odt-files.
i try to find a word 2007, then i can tell you more.
Why do you not install OpenOffice or LibreOffice ?
it's free and has nearly the same features as word.
if i can find a solution a post here.
best regards,
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN
Hello Deva,
i've installed 2007 and can load the odt-files.
have you added to the path the %s ?
"\yourPath\winword.exe" %s
have you installed the service packs ?
see image, it looks like ver 2010 but it is 2007, as you can see on the bottom-left.
best regards,
konni

I would call the column "Amp Hour".
Then split it in two, see attached xls file.
Perhaps forget about the % column, unless somebody else thinks it is useful.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN
Dear Konni,
Service pack's 1, 2 and 3 were already installed.
Looking in loogbook Konni pats, I found:
Path to ODT editor = WX_DDE#"C:\Program Files|Microsoft office\office12\WINWORD.exe"/n/dde#WINWORD#System#[REM
Path to Datamanager = explorer.exe/Select,
Path to MailClient = C:|programme\Outlook Express\msimm.exe
Path to HTML = blank
Do you notice some mistake?
Best regards
Deva

it seems that there is too much in Path to ODT Editor, try this:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft office\office12\WINWORD.exe" %s
i was able to start word in that way, but on Win7.
when word starts up, you'll get a message-box asking you to repair
the odt-file. click 'yes' here (word doesn't like the embeded pictures, but shows them).
please give me a notice, if it works now.
best regards,
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN
Hello,
logbook ver. 0.919 is up on sourceforge and the source on Github.
i've made the following changes:
- Columns inserted in Logbook:
Engine #2/h, Generator/h, Batterybank #1/#2, AH +/-
Watermaker/h, Waterm.Output gal/h
- Columns inserted in Overview:
Engine #2/h, Generator/h, Bank#1/#2 used/generated AH
Watermaker/h
- Total-Columns are now read- and writable
- input formats changed:
in the total-columns for the tanks/Batteries you can now use 1/4, 1/2.... or 120,110....
in the total-columns hours (Engines,Generator,Watermaker) you can insert now 1:30 or 1,5 or 1.5
in the hour-column the boring dialog is deleted, you can now insert a '1' for 1 hour, but 1,30, 1.30 or 1:30.
this is different to the total-column, a gauge uses 1.5 a human 1.30
- the layouts are adjusted to the new columns
- maintenance is adjusted and a bit extented
a cell has now a yellow/red background when a event occurs
- new 'capacity' option-tab for tanks, watermaker, batteries
you need to fill in data, when you use 1/4....
- a tooltip in ODT-path is added for MS-word
- added the clouds-images to the installer
in weather-tab rightclick in the column clouds and view with
a cloud-layout
- czech, danish, turkish, german translation added
- corrected the bug in crewlist - thank's Gilletarom
- corrected a bit the polish translation - thank's jacekpio
Please delete your 'textblocks.xml'-file in
C:\ProgramData\opencpn\plugins\logbook\data (Win7)
or the textblock appear in the wrong column, sorry for that.
please give me a reply, when a bug occurs. the next release of
OpenCPN is close and i like to ship this version. new suggestions
are welcome, but they are then on my todo-list (like the watchlist-suggestion by jacekpio).
best regards,
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN
konni
I installed 0.919 from SourceForge. The plugin does not show in der Plugins Tab. In the downloaded file LogbookKonni-0.919Setup.exe the file logbookkonni_pi.dll has the timestamp 2012-01-10 15:56. I think that's a wrong version! (The polish opencpn-logbookkonni_pi.mo has the timestamp 2012-05-26 15:08)
Can You fix it?

Hello sbfreddie,

try to replace in logbookoptions.cpp line 546 _T("") with _T("\xB0").
if this won'nt work, insert a degree-character like _T("°"). this should compile, but if _T("\xB0") compiles please let me know.
best regards,
konni

Konni:
I did what you request and it compiles.
The character I replaced was the degree character _T("°"). Its odd that the compiler choked on this simple character.
Thanks,
Freddie
