Re: Little AIS mod

Pavel.
Thanks, got that! "Will never do it again".
I didn't find a reliable way to undo the CR/LF so to be sure I fetched a completely new git and started from scratch. Now I've debugged that with some small changes of mine, edited in VC. Then a new git diff. My changes are in the txt file that's al right. But also a huge amount of data what seems to be from .po files. You can catch my diff-file here if you like:

Re: Little AIS mod

I downloaded the exe file and it works great!

The AIS mod is exactly what I want! So simple and just fantastic!

Can't use the time to cursor mod yet as I am not underway... I want to go for a race around just to use it!

These little things may seem... 'little'..... But the really do make OpenCpn better.
Though if someone is working on the AIS mod, when a ship is going east it covers the first part of their name. But it's only a small thing

Thanks for the mod and thanks for the exe to run it

Re: Little AIS mod

I used these two Mods for the first time in "anger" over the last few days in a few short passages.

Both are GREAT mods and recommended to be included in the full OpenCpn version.

The AIS and Time to Mouse mod are great!

I use both ALL the time!

Re: Little AIS mod

Mark..
Nice to hear and thanks to useris. I'm in the boat sailing since a couple of days, now in Denmark, and I found the AIS targets name useful as well. By the way... I saw your comment and agree that the name is partly covered in easterly directions. There should be a small adjustment for that in a new Win32-exe-file. Use the same link as before, accordingly:

Re: Little AIS mod

jjhamb..
Sorry, late answer due to poor network availibility in certain harbours. No I havn't build on that version mainly because in next beta the AIS target name function is already implemented so it will soon be available the correct way. And since that version is much better then mine it's worth to wait for. The developers has included a eligible scale limit and adjustable text fonts.
(in the previous link, https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...arget_Name.zip I've added a Win32 .exe file if you want to test the beta 3.3.424)
